Kids Learning Arcade

For grown-ups

The Learning log is for grown-ups. To open it, hold the lock at the top right for 3 seconds and answer the sum.

Learning Log

Every time your child finishes a round of a game, it is written down here: the game, the level, how long the round took, and the day. Watching the levels climb and the rounds get quicker shows what your child has learned.

Kept only on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no account, and your child is never recorded. Clearing the log, or this browser's site data, removes it.

Who's playing?

Pick a child before you hand over the device, and their rounds go under their name. A first name or nickname is enough.

    Reading the log

    • Levels: each game starts at its easiest level. When a level feels easy, a grown-up can move up with the gear in the game's top bar (unlock first).
    • Time: the typical time is the middle round's time, so one long round doesn't change it much. A round that gets quicker at the same level usually means the skill is settling in.
    • Talk about it: every game ends on "All done" with a line for you to talk about together. That talk is where most of the learning sticks.

    Questions parents ask

Is my child's learning log sent anywhere?

No. It is kept only in this browser on this device. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. Clearing it, or clearing the browser's site data, removes it.

What does the learning log show?

Each finished round of a game: the game, the level, how long the round took and the day. It does not record your child, their voice or their face.
